Itinerary

Day 1 Vienna
Arrive in Vienna and head out to explore the rich culture of this wonderful city.

Day 2 Vienna
Start your morning with your included Vienna Food, Coffee and Market Tour. Your guide will take you to hidden local markets, stopping for a snack or two along the way as you learn of the traditional Viennese coffee culture. This afternoon perhaps visit the Gothic masterpiece of St Stephen’s Cathedral, a magnificent towering building in the heart of the city.

Day 3 Vienna to Salzburg
Board the train bound for Salzburg, taking in picturesque scenery en route. On arrival begin to absorb the medieval atmosphere that still pervades the narrow streets of the old town. If time permits, perhaps visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress to admire far reaching views of the city and surrounding mountains.

Day 4 Salzburg
Today, take the time to enjoy the city’s manicured parks and burgeoning arts scene. Stop for lunch at one of the traditional delis before spending the afternoon immersed in Salzburg’s musical legacy. Explore the grandeur of Mozart’s former residence and relax in the evening at one of the city’s lovely concert halls.

Day 5 Salzburg to Innsbruck
Say goodbye to fairytale turrets as you board your train bound for Innsbruck. Admire the scenery on this truly spectacular rail journey before arriving in the Tyrolian capital. Absorb the colourful architecture then enjoy an evening meal to taste the flourishing bohemian dining scene.

Day 6 Innsbruck
Spend the morning weaving through the city’s old town and perhaps hop on the Nordkette cable car to discover one of the many gentle walking trails in the surrounding mountains. Electric bikes can be hired locally to explore further and make the most of the lush alpine landscape.
