Take to the calm
waters of the Seto Inland Sea in a kayak and get up close to one of Japan's
most photographed sites, the floating torii gate of Itukushima - don't
forget your camera! This tour (max. 15 people) is suitable for beginners.
You will receive some training on the beach before kayaking over to the
sacred island of Miyajima. Your kayaking adventure also includes some time
to have a break and briefly explore this revered, wooded island before
paddling back to the mainland.
It is recommended
that you wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little
wet. A towel is handy as is a swimming costume if you are planning to fit
in a swim (summer months only and weather permitting).
