Itinerary
Day 1 Vancouver
Arrive in vibrant Vancouver and discover the sights before a welcome reception with your fellow travellers and Travel Director this evening.
Day 2 Vancouver to Victoria
This morning discover Vancouver’s historic neighbourhoods on a sightseeing tour. Explore vibrant Chinatown, admire Victorian architecture and relax in leafy Stanley Park. Later, continue by ferry to Vancouver Island and take an orientation tour of Victoria.
Day 3 Victoria
After breakfast this morning at Butchart Gardens, admire the floral displays before the crowds arrive. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore charming Victoria, perhaps take a leisurely stroll and enjoy some local fish and chips or join an optional whale watching excursion for the chance to see whales, seals and sometimes even porpoises!
Day 4 Victoria to Kamloops
Leave Vancouver Island behind and visit a local farm for a unique lunch experience. Get a glimpse of what rural farm life looks like and sample some delicious, quality local produce. Continue to Kamloops for a relaxing evening.
Day 5 Kamloops to Jasper
Today journey to Jasper, where you will spend the next two nights. Enjoy the spectacular views en route and a stop at the majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
Day 6 Jasper
This morning enjoy a guided walk at Maligne Canyon before taking to the azure waters of Maligne Lake to admire views of its three glaciers. This afternoon is yours to further explore Jasper, perhaps opt to raft down the Athabasca River – be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife!
Days 7-8 Jasper to Banff
Today, journey along the spectacular Icefields Parkway and experience the incredible Athabasca Glacier on an Ice Explorer before continuing to Lake Louise and the mountain town of Banff. Day 8 is free for you to explore Banff at leisure, perhaps head off for a hike in the wilderness or ride the Banff Gondola for incredible views.
Day 9 Banff to Calgary
This morning depart the Rocky Mountains and head to Calgary for your flight home.
