Northern Lights & Whistler Delights

Days 1-3  Vancouver
Fly into Vancouver and spend the first few days of your trip exploring this lively city. In the downtown area you’ll find superb shopping and a vibrant restaurant scene, with views at every turn of the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

Day 4  Vancouver to Whistler
Take a two hour coach transfer to the world-famous resort of Whistler. Enjoy a stroll through the delightful village centre before choosing from a selection of great restaurants and bars.

Days 5-7  Whistler
Your winter playground awaits! Explore the pretty village, visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre or relax in the outdoor hot tub taking in the breathtaking views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and the captivating winter backdrop. Meet the local huskies on an authentic dogsledding tour – after harnessing the playful dogs and mastering the commands, whisk your own sled through spectacular snowy scenes. If a little rest is required after all this activity, snuggle down with a hot chocolate in your accommodation.

Days 8-10  Whistler
A visit to Whistler during the winter months wouldn’t be complete without exploring its diverse ski and snowboard terrain. Spread across two magnificent mountains, connected by the ingenious Peak 2 Peak gondola, the resort boasts runs to suit all abilities and your Whistler & Blackcomb Ski Lift Pass gives you unlimited access to all ski areas. On your last day, bring your enthralling week in Whistler to a close with an exciting après-ski snowcat tour with fondue dinner.

Day 11  Whistler to Whitehorse
After a final morning in Whistler, take a coach transfer directly to Vancouver airport. A 2.5 hour flight takes you to Whitehorse, capital of the Yukon and boasting incredible opportunities to view the Northern Lights.

Days 12-13  Whitehorse
Your trip to the Yukon includes three nights in the centre of Whitehorse. During the winter months, the Yukon offers some of the best Northern Lights viewing in the world and you will have the opportunity to be dazzled by the dancing lights every night of your stay. Marvel as the shimmering neon colours take over the dark night sky and a magical light show unfolds overhead. During the days explore Whitehorse on a half day city tour or perhaps take a dogsledding tour.

Day 14  Whitehorse
Enjoy your last morning in Canada’s frozen north before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
