Itinerary

Days  1-2 Vancouver    
On arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Vancouver. Start the next day with an introductory tour of the city and visit vibrant markets and historic neighbourhoods. Your tour continues onto the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park to explore jaw-dropping landscape.      

Day 3  Vancouver    
The day is yours to discover the bustling west coast seaport at your own pace. Return to the markets or perhaps embark on a gondola up the Grouse Mountain for immaculate views of the city.  

Day 4  Vancouver to Kamloops    
Board the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train and head east through Fraser Valley and the Coast Mountains. Journey through lush green fields, winding river canyons and desert like landscape. You’ll arrive in Kamloops for your overnight stay.    

Day 5  Kamloops to Jasper    
Your journey continues north-east to the mighty Canadian Rockies. The scenery continues to change dramatically as you follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. You’ll pass through the highest point in the Rockies, Pyramid Falls before arriving in Jasper National Park.    

Day 6  Jasper    
Seek out various wildlife in their natural habitat on a tour of Jasper National Park. Your expert guide will teach you about the geology, ecology and human history of the pristine area as you keep your eyes peeled and camera ready for potential spotting of elk, moose and other furry inhabitants.    

Day 7  Jasper to Banff      
Depart Jasper for an incredible visit to the Columbia Icefields. Ride on a large all-terrain Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier for an afternoon in spectacular icy surroundings. Enjoy a hot lunch before stepping onto the glass-floored Columbia Icefield Skywalk. Arrive at your hotel in Banff.    

Day 8  Banff    
Experience sweeping views of Banff as you journey up Sulphur Mountain in a gondola. Walk along the beautiful boardwalk to Cosmic Ray Station and Sanson’s Peak at the top of the summit. Perhaps visit the world-class mountaintop discovery centre or enjoy an elegant meal at the award-winning Sky Bistro.    

Day 9  Banff    
Today is yours to explore the charming mountain town at your own pace. Perhaps hike one of the many scenic trails, unwind in Banff Upper Hot Springs or uncover the many local shops and eateries in town.

Day 10  Banff to Winnipeg    
Transfer to Calgary Airport for your flight to Winnipeg, then make your own way to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the flourishing art scene or characteristic neighbourhoods at your own leisure.    

Days 11-12  Winnipeg to Churchill        
Fly to Churchill and transfer to Lazy Bear Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon Cultural & Heritage tour of Churchill and visit the famous Polar Bear Holding Facility. The next day you’ll embark on a Hudson Bay boat tour in anticipation of viewing polar bears and other arctic wildlife.    

Day 13  Churchill        
Explore the mighty Churchill River and keep your eyes peeled for the majestic Beluga Whales. Later, enjoy a walking tour of the historic Prince of Wales Fort.    

Day 14  Churchill        
Spend the day at your own leisure. Perhaps get up and close with the friendly and curios beluga whales as you glide the surface of the Churchill River on a floating mat or paddle along the icy waters on a kayak expedition.      

Day 15  Churchill to Winnipeg  
Embark on a thrilling tundra tour on a specially designed Arctic Crawler™ to see the beautiful landscape and various wildlife. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Winnipeg.    

Day 16  Winnipeg        
Check out from your Winnipeg hotel as your adventure comes to an end.
