Itinerary
Day 1 Toronto
Arrive into Toronto and transfer to your luxurious hotel, the Omni King Edward Hotel, which is known for its grand architecture and glamorous atmosphere. This evening, meet your tour director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 Niagara Falls
Discover one of the world's greatest wonders, Niagara Falls, as you cruise to the base of these impressive falls. Later, explore Niagara-on-the-Lake with a visit to Chateau des Charmes for a tour and wine tasting of St David's Bench Vineyard. After enjoying a glass of limited production rose sparkling wine, hand-made ice cream and local fruit, head back to Toronto for an orientation tour. See Ontario's Parliament buildings, Queen's Park and the Royal Ontario Museum.
Day 3 Toronto to Ottawa
Travel along the shores of Lake Ontario to Kingston, Canada's first capital. Continue to the modern capital of Ottawa and meet a retired member of the renowned Royal Canadian Mounted Police to hear fascinating tales and understand what its like to wear the famous red serge uniform.
Day 4 Ottawa
Spend the day exploring Ottawa at your own pace and choose between a craft beer tasting in Byward Market or a guided tour of the Canadian Museum of History this afternoon. This evening, enjoy a farm-to-table highlight dinner.
Day 5 Ottawa to Quebec City
Journey along the St Lawrence River to Quebec City, North America's first permanent French settlement and the only walled city in Canada. Join a local expert for an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of the iconic Chateau Frontenac as you gain access to areas no accessible to others and learn how its history is interwoven with the city's residents. This evening, enjoy a spectacular dinner with wine at Chez Rioux & Pettigrew.
Day 6 Quebec City
Visit a secret gem on the Il d'Orleans and indulge in the different flavours of jam made with the local grown berries, before enjoying a picnic with cheese, bread, fruits and wine produced right on the island. Later, delve further into Quebec City's history with a local expert as you see the Citadel of Quebec, the Latin Quarter, the National Assembly and Place-Royal all whilst soaking up the city's French-Canadian influence.
Day 7 Quebec City to Montreal
Explore historic Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets, the Old Port and admire the dramatic Notre-Dame Basilica's glorious stained glass windows. The afternoon is at leisure to explore as you wish, perhaps explore Montreal's Underground City or the Marche an Talon. Spend the evening in Gibby's restaurant for a final night savouring French-inspired cuisine with your fellow travellers.
Day 8 Montreal
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward travels.
