Itinerary
Days 1-2 Toronto
Arrive into Toronto and transfer to your hotel, the historic Fairmont Royal York in downtown Toronto. Following a welcome breakfast on day two, embark on a city tour taking in some of Toronto’s many highlights including a trip up to the LookOut level of the CN Tower, an icon of the Toronto skyline, before choosing where to dine this evening.
Day 3 Toronto to Niagara Falls
Travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake, often heralded as the prettiest town in Ontario due to its colonial style buildings, before continuing to the magnificent Niagara Falls for an exhilarating cruise. Dine overlooking the cascading falls before an APT Signature Invitation to the Illumination Tower, used to create your very own fascinating light displays on the falls.
Day 4 Niagara Falls to Ottawa
Enjoy breakfast at the top of your hotel savouring a last glimpse of the falls before setting out to the beautiful 1,000 Islands region. Embark on a relaxing cruise passing cottages, castles and estates before traveling on to the nation’s capital city of Ottawa.
Day 5 Ottawa
Take a city tour exploring Parliament Hill. Later, choose a Freedom of Choice excursion from visiting the Canadian Museum of History, a gourmet culinary tour, a guided bicycle tour or take to the skies in an open-cockpit biplane.
Day 6 Ottawa to Quebec City
Explore the Parc Omega Reserve, home to many animals including bears, wolves and bald headed eagles. Take part in a APT Signature Experience at a traditional Sugar Shack to learn how maple syrup is produced. Continue to Quebec City to take a sightseeing tour of the picture-perfect Petit Champlain.
Day 7 Quebec City
A Freedom of Choice Touring option awaits this morning. Meet local chefs and artisans on a culinary tour or you might prefer to set out on a fascinating St Lawrence River cruise. The evening is yours to spend at leisure.
Day 8 Quebec City to Montreal
Travel to the charming French-Canadian city of Montreal; a city tour will take you to Notre Dame Cathedral, into Old Montreal and to enjoy the views of downtown from Mount Royal. The afternoon can be spent at leisure.
Days 9-10 Montreal
Discover more today with your Freedom of Choice Touring option. Perhaps enjoy lunch at the home of a Montreal resident in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, explore one of the world’s largest underground complexes, or wander the historic cobblestone streets of Old Montreal on a walking tour. Tonight, dine on French fare at a farewell dinner in the heart of Old Montreal. After breakfast on day 10, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
