Itinerary
Days 1-3 Toronto
Arrive in Toronto, a vibrant, friendly and multi-cultural city for a two-night stay. Check out the CN Tower, elegant Yorkville or visit the St Lawrence Market. Alternatively, take a day trip to thundering Niagara Falls.
Day 4 Toronto to Ottawa
Ride the rails along the banks of Lake Ontario before travelling inland to Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.
Days 5-6 Ottawa
Ottawa is a compact city, perfect for exploring by foot. See the Rideau Canal, Parliament Hill and discover the ByWard Market area, home to a number of independent restaurants.
Day 7 Ottawa to Québec City
Leave the capital city behind and relax on board VIA Rail as you journey to the heart of French speaking Québec.
Days 8-9 Québec City
Wander the narrow alleys of Old Québec City and soak up the distinctly European ambience and rich heritage.
Day 10 Québec City to Montréal
Head south by train to vibrant Montréal.
Days 11-12 Montréal
Montréal is a lively city and it’s a pleasure to simply explore the streets and admire the architecture. Alternatively, visit Mount Royal Park for sweeping city views.
Day 13 Montréal
Your journey comes to an end this morning.
Departs: Toronto, daily (train departure times vary).
