Itinerary
Day 1 Whitehorse
Welcome to the Yukon’s capital city. Explore the excellent local breweries, delve into Gold Rush history at the SS Klondike National Historic Site or head into the local boutiques and go shopping for gold!
Day 2 Whitehorse to Tagish Lake
Your journey begins as you glide across the Yukon landscape by floatplane to the shores of Tagish Lake. A warm welcome awaits you at the 3★ Southern Lakes Resort as you settle into your cosy cabin. Round off the evening with an excellent dinner at this charming lodge, nestled in the wilderness.
Days 3-4 Tagish Lake
After a hearty breakfast, the days are yours to be as active or relaxed as you wish. Perhaps take in your host’s knowledge on the local flora and fauna and explore the hiking routes through the rusty autumn colours. Alternatively, fishing, canoeing and kayaking excursions are on offer (bookable locally and subject to availability) and the evenings are filled with the anticipation of seeing the stunning Northern Lights.
Day 5 Tagish Lake to Whitehorse
Your time in the wilderness comes to an end today as you transfer back to Whitehorse.
Day 6 Whitehorse
There’s time for one last morning in Whitehorse before your onward arrangements.
Additional Options: A magical winter version of this holiday is available.
