Itinerary

Days 1-2 Halifax  
Explore this historic and vibrant waterfront city. The Halifax citadel provides panoramic views of the harbour and the boardwalk offers fantastic eateries and museums.    

Day 3 Halifax to Lunenburg    
Pick up your motorhome this morning and drive along the Lighthouse Route. Enjoy lunch at the delightful Peggy’s Cove before arriving in pretty Lunenburg.  

Days 4-5 Lunenburg to Digby  
Head to Digby, stopping at the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park known for its lush forests and meandering rivers. From Digby, look out for whales during the summer across the Bay of Fundy and try the world famous scallops.    

Day 6 Digby to Fundy NP    
Enjoy the scenic ferry across the Bay of Fundy to St John and continue to Fundy National Park.

Day 7 Fundy NP    
A true highlight today as you explore this unique and fascinating area from the world’s highest tides of Hopewell Rocks, to spectacular Fundy National Park.    

Days 8-9 Fundy NP to Charlottetown  
Cross the impressive eight mile Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island. Explore its capital city Charlottetown, before heading off to discover the numerous picturesque lighthouses.    

Day 10 Charlottetown to East Lake Ainslie    
Back on the mainland, head towards Cape Breton Island, one of Canada’s most spectacular coastlines.    

Day 11 East Lake Ainslie to Ingonish    
Join the famous Cabot Trail, a breathtaking drive that weaves through the glorious highlands en route to Ingonish.    

Day 12 Ingonish    
Spend the full day discovering the dramatic scenes of Breton Highlands National Park, where the mountains meet the sea. The best way to explore the area is by foot on one of the many trails.    

Day 13 Ingonish to Eastern Shore    
Enjoy the scenery as you drive south to the Eastern Shore. There are many areas to discover here with the beautiful archipelago of the 100 Wild Islands being a particular highlight.  

Day 14 Eastern Shore to Halifax    
Take the short drive back to Halifax and drop off your motorhome.

  • 12 days Cruise Canada C25 motorhome hire, sleeping up to 5, 1,900km worth of kilometre packs and Cruise Canada’s Insurance. Return transfers to the Cruise Canada depot including early pick-up and late drop-off.
