Itinerary
Days 1-2 Halifax
Halifax is a melting pot of gastronomy, history and maritime culture. Visit the museums and galleries or head to the vibrant waterfront.
Day 3 Halifax to Moncton
Pick up your car this morning and head to Moncton in New Brunswick. Detour via Shediac, known as the ‘Lobster Capital of the World’.
Day 4 Bay of Fundy
Today visit Hopewell Rocks, home to some of the world’s highest tides. Enjoy spectacular views at Cape Enrage and explore rugged Fundy National Park.
Day 5 Moncton to St John
Spend the day on the Fundy Trail’s pathways and beaches, then head to the markets of St John.
Day 6 St John to St Andrews
It’s just a short drive to the picturesque waterside town of St Andrews.
Days 7-8 St Andrews
Visit the award-winning Kingsbrae Gardens with 27 acres of horticultural displays and fine cuisine. Ensure you leave time to visit Minister’s Island or take a ferry to Roosevelt Campobello International Park, both with a fascinating history and pretty walking routes.
Day 9 St Andrews to Fredericton
Today’s short drive takes you inland to Fredericton, the quaint capital of New Brunswick.
Day 10 Fredericton
A cultural hub steeped in rich history, the best way to explore is on foot or by bike via the many trails along the banks of the wide Saint John River.
Day 11 Fredericton to Caraquet
Drive through the wildlife-filled forests to this small town on the coast.
Day 12 Caraquet
A warm Acadian welcome awaits in Caraquet, where during the summer months the town hosts many festivals.
Day 13 Caraquet to Miramichi
Let the local fishing folklore enchant you in the city of Miramichi.
Day 14 Miramichi to Fox Harbour
Head south down the Acadian coast, stopping to stretch your legs in coastal Kouchibouguac National Park before arriving back into Nova Scotia.
Day 15 Fox Harbour to Halifax
Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, enjoy this waterside retreat complete with kayaking, horse riding and fishing. In the evening, return to Halifax for your flight home.
