Itinerary

Days 1-2 Halifax  
Arrive into Halifax Nova Scotia, a vibrant waterfront city and visit the Citadel for panoramic views of the harbour. Stroll along the boardwalk and discover a fantastic selection of eateries and museums.    

Day 3 Halifax to Lunenburg    
Pick up your car and begin your coastal journey. Pass through Peggy’s Cove to see its famous lighthouse, before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg, known for its colourful waterfront properties.    

Day 4 Lunenburg to Digby    
Today travel via the Kejimkujik National Park en route to Digby, enjoying a scenic walk through the lush forests and peaceful lakes.    

Day 5 Digby    
Spend today exploring attractive Digby and indulging in its world-famous, succulent scallops while admiring the amazing views of the Bay of Fundy.

Day 6 Digby to Moncton    
Take the scenic ferry across the Bay of Fundy to St John in New Brunswick and drive the charming coastal roads to Moncton, ideally located to access the magnificent Fundy National Park.    
   
Day 7 Fundy NP    
Explore Fundy National Park’s natural wonders, including the towering Hopewell Rocks, where you can witness the spectacle of the world’s highest tides.  

Day 8 Moncton to Charlottetown    
Drive north across Confederation Bridge into Prince Edward Island. Spend time in Charlottetown, the island’s capital, taking in its charming streets, historic sites and local cuisine.    

Day 9 Georgetown    
Venture to the quaint fishing town of Georgetown to discover one of the island’s iconic lighthouses and sample some of the delicious seafood on offer.  
   
Day 10 Charlottetown to Halifax    
Head back to Halifax for your last adventure in this delightful coastal city.  

Day 11 Halifax to St John’s  
Fly into Newfoundland’s capital city, St John’s and pick up your car. Spend the afternoon exploring this historic port city, where colourful houses line its steep streets. Then relish sampling freshly caught seafood at a harbour-side restaurant.    

Day 12 St John’s    
Enjoy a morning whale watching tour, where you might catch sight of humpback whales, seabirds, and icebergs. In the afternoon, continue to explore the city at your own pace. Why not visit Signal Hill for panoramic views of the harbour.  

Day 13 St John’s to Trinity    
Today drive to the picturesque town of Trinity on the Bonavista Peninsula. Stroll through this historic fishing village, known for its well-preserved buildings and charming atmosphere.    


Day 14 Trinity    
Take a hike on the nearby Skerwink Trail, which offers stunning views of the coastline, before relaxing in one of Trinity’s quaint cafés and taking in the peaceful surroundings. If you have time why not visit the Rising Tide Theatre for a glimpse into Newfoundland's rich cultural history.    

Day 15 Trinity to Gander    
Travel inland towards Gander, passing through Terra Nova National Park on your journey. In Gander, visit the North Atlantic Aviation Museum, where you can learn about the town’s pivotal role in aviation history.

Day 16 Gander    
Today explore the scenic surroundings of Gander. Take a trip to Twillingate, a beautiful coastal town renowned for iceberg sightings and whale watching or enjoy a peaceful hike in the region’s lush forests.    

Day 17 Gander to St John’s    
Make the drive back to St John’s in the morning, stopping along the way to take in any final sights. Arrive in St John’s in time for your evening flight, concluding your unforgettable Newfoundland adventure.
