Passage Through The Rockies

Day 1  Calgary  
Arrive in Calgary and transfer to your downtown hotel. Join your tour director and fellow travellers for a welcome reception.  

Day 2  Calgary to Banff  
Head for picturesque Banff, enjoying a visit to Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary and the spectacular views of Banff National Park en route.  

Day 3  Banff  
The day is yours to explore this charming town at leisure, perhaps ride the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views of the Canadian Rockies.  

Day 4  Banff to Lake Louise  
Take a short drive to the picture perfect Lake Louise, known as the Jewel of the Rockies, and marvel at the stunning turquoise waters. Soak up the spectacular surroundings and perhaps stroll along the lake.  

Day 5  Lake Louise to Jasper  
Enjoy more eye-catching views as you travel along the Icefields Parkway. Stop at the Columbia Icefield for a thrilling ride on the Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer.  

Day 6  Jasper to Blue River  
Pass Sun Peaks en route to Blue River, where you’ll set off on a river safari to Grizzly Bear Valley. Keep your eyes peeled for resident bears before continuing on to picturesque Mike Wiegele Heli Village.  

Day 7  Blue River to Vancouver  
Head through the rugged Cariboo region before arriving in vibrant Vancouver. This evening is free to explore at leisure.

Day 8  Vancouver  
Discover this wonderful city on a sightseeing tour. Take an optional excursion to the Capilano Suspension Bridge.  

Day 9  Vancouver to Whistler  
After a leisurely breakfast head north along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway to the picturesque alpine village of Whistler.

Day 10  Whistler to Victoria  
Return south and take a ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island and charming Victoria.  

Day 11  Victoria  
This morning enjoy some free time on Vancouver Island. Perhaps visit the Butchart Gardens which have been delighting visitors for over 100 years, before a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers at the gardens.  

Day 12  Victoria to Vancouver  
Board a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Vancouver for your flight home, or perhaps continue your holiday with an Inside Passage cruise. Please call for details.
