Itinerary
Days 1-2 Montréal
Mount Royal Park, an array of festivals and dining options, plus spas aplenty – vibrant Montréal is a delightful melting pot of culture and cuisine. To round off your stay, perhaps enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at the iconic Fairmont Empress hotel.
Days 3-5 Toronto
Take the train to friendly Toronto, which sits on the shore of Lake Ontario. Explore upmarket Yorkville, quirky Kensington Market and enjoy a day trip to see the thundering waters of Niagara Falls.
Days 6-8 Whistler
A 5 hour flight brings you to Canada’s Pacific coast, where your transfer will whisk you away to the mountains in Whistler. Discover endless outdoor activities in this iconic mountain village and look out for the resident bears on a guided tour.
Days 9-11 Vancouver
Located between mountains and ocean, Vancouver’s stunning setting is hard to beat. Walk, jog or cycle around Stanley Park before refuelling at one of the city’s fantastic restaurants. Explore the delights of Granville Island market and historic Gastown then head out of the city to scale the heights of Grouse Mountain and cross Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Days 12-13 Victoria
Take a scenic ferry from Vancouver to quaint Victoria on Vancouver Island. Visit the lively waterfront, head out on a whale watching cruise and join a tour to the renowned Butchart Gardens.
Days 14-17 Banff
Take the short 1.5 hour flight from Victoria to Calgary and transfer to the mountains. Famous for towering peaks, beautiful lakes and wonderful wildlife, the Rockies are a must-see on any trip to Canada. Base yourself in charming Banff and explore the beauty of the surrounding national parks. There are a plethora of outdoor activities available or you can relax with a ride on the Banff Gondola and a soak in the famous hot springs. Visit Johnston Canyon, Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, a breathtaking glacier lake famous for its stunning turquoise tones, on a full day guided tour. Plus, take a trip north on the Icefields Parkway to the spectacular Columbia Icefield.
Day 18 Calgary
After an invigorating few days in the Rockies, leave the mountains and head to Calgary for some cowboy culture! Famous for its annual Stampede in July, Calgary also has much to offer year-round so make sure you have time to explore the downtown area.
Day 19 Calgary
Spend a final morning with a walk along the Bow River or visit one of the many museums before your flight home.
