Itinerary
Days 1-2 Perth
Explore the cosmopolitan capital of Western Australia. Head to one of the beaches within easy reach of the city, cruise the Swan River or travel out to bustling Fremantle.
Days 3-4 Perth to Cervantes
Collect your motorhome and drive north to the moonscape of the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. This evening stay in Cervantes.
Days 5-6 Cervantes to Kalbarri
Continue to Kalbarri, a spectacular landscape of rivers and gorges overlooking the Indian Ocean. Swim, whale watch or explore the rugged cliffs at Red Bluff.
Days 7-8 Kalbarri to Denham
Take in the scenery as you head north to Shark Bay Marine Park, staying in the seaside town of Denham.
Days 9-10 Denham to Coral Bay
Today will be one of your longer drives, made all the better with the vast ocean scenery en route to Coral Bay. Spend the following day snorkelling.
Days 11-12 Coral Bay to Exmouth
Travel north to Exmouth, the gateway to the spectacular Ningaloo Reef. Spend the next two days exploring the marine national park, perhaps opting to swim with whale sharks.
Day 13 Exmouth to Carnarvon
Start your journey back south towards the sleepy town of Carnarvon.
Day 14 Carnarvon to Denham
Continue south to Denham. Perhaps spend the afternoon around Shark Bay, one of the few places in the world where you can interact with wild dolphins.
Day 15 Denham to Geraldton
Travel on to the seaside town of Geraldton, a bustling holiday destination. Relax on the white sandy beaches, visit the fascinating museums or take a wander along the Heritage Trail around the town.
Days 16-17 Geraldton to Yanchep NP
Journey south to Yanchep National Park. Explore the many walking trails and limestone caves plus spot koalas along the park’s Koala Boardwalk.
Day 18 Yanchep NP to Perth
Head back to Perth to drop off your motorhome before your onward flight.
