Itinerary
Day 1 Perth
Welcome to Perth. This afternoon, visit Kings Park and explore its Botanical Garden along the Swan River, before enjoying a welcome dinner this evening.
Day 2 Perth to Wave Rock
Journey through the Golden Outback to the small town of Hyden en route to Wave Rock, a magnificent rock formation. Meet a Wave Rock local and learn about the unique lifestyle of the Aussie outback.
Day 3 Wave Rock to Kalgoorlie
Travel to the gold rush era town of Kalgoorlie and marvel at the staggering view over the immense ‘Super Pit’ open-cut gold mine.
Day 4 Kalgoorlie to Esperance
Visit Cape Le Grand National Park, famed for its rugged granite peaks, sweeping heathlands and white sand beaches. At Lucky Bay, watch out for the resident kangaroos that like to lay on the beach before heading to Esperance.
Day 5 Esperance to Albany
Head back west to Albany, stopping at Bluff Knoll Lookout to witness the stunning beauty of the Stirling Ranges National Park.
Day 6 Albany
Spend a leisurely morning exploring seaside Albany, perhaps visit the highly acclaimed National Anzac Centre.
Day 7 Albany to Margaret River
Explore the canopies of the tingle trees this morning on the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. This evening you’ll taste the local produce of the Margaret River region as you enjoy a wine tasting and a dinner at a winery.
Day 8 Margaret River to Fremantle
Drift through the magnificent wine regions en route to Bussleton. The rest of the day is free to explore Fremantle, perhaps wander the colourful markets or stroll along the foreshore to see the fishing fleet.
Day 9 Fremantle
Enjoy today at leisure, why not embark on a tour of historic convict Fremantle Prison or head over to Rottnest Island this afternoon to seek out the resident quokkas?
Day 10 Fremantle to Geraldton
Continue north along the coast, stopping at Yanchep National Park for an Aboriginal cultural experience and the eerie desert landscape of the Pinnacles. Explore the intriguing limestone formations, then continue on to the seaside town of Geraldton and visit the evocative HMAS Sydney Memorial.
Day 11 Geraldton to Monkey Mia
Walk the shores of Shell Beach, before travelling on to the blue waters of Monkey Mia. Discover the history of the Aboriginal communities of Shark Bay before a didgeridoo performance alongside a bush tucker cooked campfire.
Day 12 Monkey Mia
This morning, watch the famous Monkey Mia dolphins approach the shore for a feed (weather depending), then spend the rest of the day as you wish.
Day 13 Monkey Mia to Kalbarri
Venture into Kalbarri National Park to admire the spectacular scenery of the Murchison River Gorge.
Day 14 Kalbarri to Perth
Travel back south to Perth and join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner this evening.
Day 15 Perth
Your tour comes to an end after breakfast.
