Itinerary

Days 1-2 Hobart
Welcome to Tassie! This little gem of an island has many natural wonders to discover and with Hobart's thriving foodie scene, convict history and modern art galleries, there's no better place to start your Tassie adventure. Once you've seen the sights, pick up your Mighty Camper and hit the open road to explore the island.

Days 3-8 Hobart to George Town
Head west to the remote wilderness of Strahan, before heading north to Cradle Mountain National Park. This little haven is home to a Tasmanian Devil sanctuary where you can get up close with these devilish creatures - but be careful, they are carnivorous! Continue you jaunt north to Stanley to see the unique 'Nut' formation out at sea and follow the coast round to George Town, stopping at the town of Penguin en route to see the little penguins that call this town home.

Day 9-12 George Town to Hobart
Lavender fields, wineries and the rich Tamar Valley food bowl are what await in Launceston. Chow down on some of the best local produce Australia has to offer, before you head to St Helens to meander the Bay of Fires. Known as a Great Walk of Australia, this trail highlights the spectacular rugged coastline of Tasmania but if you had more of a scenic cruise in mind, then head down to Freycinet National Park to see the crystal waters of Wineglass Bay. End your journey with a spot of history at the former convict prison of Port Arthur before dropping your motorhome off back in Hobart.
