Begin your holiday in historic Hobart. Nestled amongst the foothills of Mount Wellington, this scenic city has plenty to offer.
Days 3-4 Hobart to Strahan
Pick up your motorhome and take the scenic drive through the spectacular Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park to the frontier town of Strahan. Perhaps take to the Gordon River for a peaceful wilderness cruise.
Days 5-6 Strahan to Cradle Mountain NP
Head inland as you marvel at the diverse scenery of Cradle Mountain and its lush ancient rainforest surroundings. Spend the day exploring the area on foot, before going behind the scenes at Devils@Cradle Sanctuary to learn more about the infamous Tasmanian devil.

Day 8 George Town to St Helens
Travel via Launceston, one of Australia’s oldest cities, before continuing to the east coast, home to the Bay of Fires, aptly named after its iconic orange-hued boulders.
Day 9 St Helens to Freycinet NP
Continue your journey along the Great Eastern Drive from the Surf Coast to Freycinet National Park.
Day 10 Freycinet NP

Day 11 Freycinet NP to Port Arthur
Travel further south down the Arthur Highway to Port Arthur, an impressively preserved historic site.
Day 12 Port Arthur to Hobart
