Itinerary
Days 1-4 Sydney
Spend a few days exploring the city’s varied districts including waterside precinct Barangaroo, teeming with fabulous bars and restaurants. Wander the cobbled streets of the historic Rocks area down to the Harbour Bridge, soak up Opera House views as you enjoy a picnic in the stunning botanical gardens, then hit the shops in Paddington.
Day 5 Sydney to Port Stephens
Pick up your car and head north out of the city, following the picturesque coastline to Port Stephens. This laidback region plays host to powdery white sand beaches and calm bays, perfect for snorkelling.
Days 6-7 Port Stephens
Why not enjoy a relaxing harbour cruise to spot the pod of playful bottlenose dolphins who reside in these nutrient-rich waters, or enjoy a scenic coastal walk through natural bushland to stunning Fingal Bay.
Day 8 Port Stephens to Hunter Valley
Leave the coast behind and journey inland to the rolling hills of the Hunter Valley. Time permitting, route via Barrington Tops National Park, which offers panoramic views of pristine subtropical rainforest.
Day 9 Hunter Valley
Australia’s oldest wine producing region boasts over 150 wineries and some of the finest vintages in the world. Tantalise your taste buds today as you sample the very best of the region’s product on a Hunter Valley Food & Wine Tour.
Day 10 Hunter Valley to Katoomba, Blue Mountains
A scenic drive through rural New South Wales brings you to the spectacular Blue Mountains, boasting rainforest, ancient caves and countless waterfalls.
Days 11-12 Katoomba, Blue Mountains
The dramatic surrounding scenery culminates here with the Three Sisters at Katoomba gazing out towards Mount Solitary. Enjoy a bush walk before a visit to the picturesque village of Leura.
Days 13-14 Katoomba, Blue Mountains to Bondi Beach, Sydney
Travel back towards Sydney and finish your adventure with a stay in lively Bondi Beach, with its fantastic café culture, boutique shops and world-famous golden sands.
Day 15 Bondi Beach, Sydney
Return your car to Sydney airport or the city.
