Itinerary
Day 1 Johannesburg, South Africa
Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to your hotel. This evening meet your fellow travellers at a welcome meeting and dinner.
Day 2 Johannesburg to Hazyview
After breakfast depart for the Mpumalanga Province, known as the ‘Paradise Country’. Travel via picturesque historic towns before arriving into Hazyview, the gateway to Kruger National Park.
Days 3-4 Hazyview
This morning drive along the spectacular Panorama Route admiring the amazing scenery, including Blyde River Canyon and historic God’s Window. On day 4, look out for the Big 5 on a thrilling morning game drive in Kruger National Park.
Day 5 Hazyview to Ezulwini Valley, eSwatini
Depart for eSwatini (Swaziland) known for its beautiful scenery, crafts and colourful indigenous culture and enjoy an interactive cultural experience.
Day 6 Ezulwini Valley to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Region, South Africa
Travel into Zululand today, passing traditional rondavels and endless vistas. Enjoy an afternoon open vehicle safari in the prestigious and renowned HluhluweiMfolozi Game Reserve.
Day 7 Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Region to Tsitsikamma
Rise early and head to Durban for a short morning flight (not included in price) to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Upon arrival, follow the coastline along the Garden Route to Tsitsikamma for the night.
Day 8 Tsitsikamma to Knysna
After breakfast, explore the spectacular Tsitsikamma National Park before continuing to Knysna. This evening, enjoy a scenic cruise on Knysna Lagoon as the sun sets.
Day 9 Knysna to Oudtshoorn
Today, continue onto Oudtshoorn, the ‘ostrich feather capital’ and centre of the world’s Ostrich farming industry. This afternoon, enjoy an interactive tour by tractor around a local Ostrich Farm.
Day 10 Oudtshoorn to Hermanus
Travel from Oudtshoorn to Barrydale and visit a local farm school in support of the local education of underprivileged children in rural communities (please note the school is closed during the school holidays). Later, continue to the charming coastal town of Hermanus for the night.
Day 11 Hermanus to Cape Town
Today, travel from Hermanus via the coastal route to Stellenbosch and enjoy some time to explore the beautiful winelands. This afternoon, travel to Cape Town.
Days 12-15 Cape Town
Over the next couple of days, take in many of Cape Town’s wonderful sights at your own pace including a visit to Table Mountain & Kirstenbosch Gardens. Spend a full day visiting the Babylonstoren Wine Estate to sample delicious local delicacies.
Day 16 Cape Town
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
