Bush & Beach Odyssey

Days 1-4  Cape Town, South Africa  
Welcome to Cape Town! Spend the next 4 days exploring this vibrant city. Your first full day will take you to the top of Table Mountain (fee payable locally) and the pretty Company’s Garden. On day 3 join a fascinating Cape Walk to Freedom & Robben Island tour for an insight into the city’s history. On your last day experience a full day guided Cape Winelands Tour and sample some of the best wines and produce South Africa has to offer.      

Day 5  Cape Town to Greater Kruger NP      
Begin your safari adventure in the most iconic and largest park in South Africa. Upon arrival take a cooling dip in the lodge’s pool and enjoy a refreshing cocktail. Just before the sun begins to set, head out on for your first game drive experience, with the chance to spot the famous Big 5! Return to your lodge for  a sumptuous dinner before being lulled  to sleep by the sounds of the bush.      

Days 6-7  Greater Kruger NP  
Enjoy two full days exploring Kruger’s unspoilt wilderness. As you venture out by 4WD safari vehicle keep your eyes peeled for some of the 150 mammals and 500 bird species that call the park home, including agile leopards that you may be lucky enough to spot perched high in the trees. At the end of each day, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars and reminisce about your wildlife sightings with your fellow travellers.  

Days 8-9  Greater Kruger NP  to Vilanculous Town, Mozambique
Leave the incredible African bush behind and transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight to Vilanculous via Johannesburg. The scenic Vilanculos coast is perfectly suited to those looking for relaxation and gentle exploration. The proximity of the resort to the town makes it easy to enjoy the local culture experiences. Explore by tuk tuk and visit the local craft markets for a taste of the laidback Mozambique way of life. In the evenings soak up the ocean views from one of the terraces with a sundowner.      

Days 10-12  Vilanculos Town      
The crystal clear water and coral reefs in this area are home to an impressive array of fish, dolphins, manta rays and even humpback whales! Make sure you see them whilst also enjoying some of the other exciting activities on offer, including beach horse riding, canoeing, fantastic snorkelling and diving in the azure waters of the neighbouring Bazaruto Archipelago.      

Day 13  Vilanculos Town      
Transfer to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
