Itinerary
Day 1 Casablanca
Arrive in the impressive city of Casablanca and transfer to your accommodation. Take a stroll to discover the city’s thriving art scene, cultural heritage, and Art Deco architecture.
Day 2 Rabat to Meknes
Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque before a short drive to the peaceful neighbouring city of Rabat. Enjoy a guided tour of Morocco’s capital and marvel at the iconic religious landmark of Hassan Tower before continuing to Meknes.
Days 3-4 Meknes to Fez
Explore the pleasing streets of Meknes with your guide before enjoying a local wine tasting experience. Visit Volubilis and tour through the triumphal arches of this Roman ruin before heading to Fez. Tonight, enjoy a home cooked meal to enjoy one of Morocco’s most celebrated dishes, pastilla. Awaken the senses as you spend the following day on a guided tour to explore Fez.
Days 5-6 Fez to Merzouga
Travel to the charming market town of Midelt and stop en route to sample some fresh goat cheese before indulging in a traditional Moroccan couscous lunch. After a restful night, drive through the ever-changing scenery of the mountains to Merzouga where you will be treated to a nomadic camel ride through the Sahara. Feast under the stars and enjoy some live Gnaoua music, followed by a star-gazing experience.
Days 7-9 Merzouga to Ait Benhaddou
Journey to Todra Gorge, one of the most dramatic natural sights in Morocco. Take a gentle walk through the gorge before continuing to Dades Valley. The next morning, set off on a guided hike before savouring some tea with a local Amazigh family. After spending the night in Dades Valley, continue onto the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou and discover this remaining piece of the 11th Century.
Days 10-11 Ait Benhaddou to High Atlas Mountains
Head to the High Atlas Mountains and enjoy a guided hike through the magnificent valleys.
Days 12-14 High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech
Unearth the mysteries of the infamous red city. Wander through the labyrinth of alleyways that make up the souks and medina before soaking in the inviting aromas and flavours of local cuisine.
