Itinerary
Journey from east
to south on this epic tour across eight countries. Explore the heart of
East Africa on this incredible African adventure, starting in the cosmopolitan
city of Nairobi, cross borders into Tanzania through the semi-arid lands
of the Maasai people into Arusha. Jump into your Lando as you set off on
safari to the Serengeti National Park, keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife
- buffaloes, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, and more. Camp on the
rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Enjoy the varied
landscapes on the way to the Indian Ocean coast. Spend some time on the
picturesque island of Zanzibar. Continue on to Lake Malawi for beautiful
views of mountains in the background and Tanzania across the lake.
Heading south
out of East Africa, experience one of the true hidden gems of Southern
Africa on a wildlife safari drive through South Luangwa National Park in
Zambia. Take in the natural splendour of thundering Victoria Falls while
viewing the massive falls from the Zimbabwean side. Cross the border from
Zimbabwe into Botswana, cruise along the Chobe River for the best opportunities
to view hippos, crocodiles, and many elephants wallowing in the water.
Hop into a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, which takes you deep into
the Okavango Delta.
Continue through
the western part of Botswana, the heart of the Kalahari to D'kar, and learn
about fascinating wilderness survival skills by local Bushmen. Go in search
for a variety of wildlife in Etosha National Park. Travel south and enjoy
the granite peaks of Spitzkoppe, then through the coastal region to the
adrenaline capital of Swakopmund and explore this historical town at your
own pace. Marvel at the spectacular Sossusvlei Dunes and climb the
breathtaking Dune 45.
Travel to Fish
River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa, and arguably the second largest
in the world, taking in the majestic beauty of the canyon. Watch as a spectacular
sunset slips over the canyon's rim. Cross into the final country of your
journey, South Africa.
Head south through
the Western Cape to the area of the Cederberg Mountains, where you spend
the evening camping on a local farm. Explore the area, sip local wine,
and sit back and enjoy the dramatic scenery. Your final stop of the journey
brings you to vibrant Cape Town. Enjoy the beautiful views of Table Mountain
