Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. If you have an early arrival we recommend you book an additional experience.
Day 2 Nairobi to Masai Mara NR
Travel through the tea and coffee plantations of Kenya’s highlands to the lip of the Great Rift Valley. Descending the escarpment, you’ll reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Day 3 Masai Mara NR
Enjoy a morning game drive around the Masai Mara: classic safari country with wide open grasslands dotted with acacia trees. Why not add a hot air balloon trip to view the reserve from above? After lunch set off on an afternoon game drive and later visit a Masai village.
Day 4 Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP
Drive to the shores of picturesque Lake Nakuru and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the surrounding national park.
Day 5 Lake Nakuru NP to Amboseli NP
Today is a long day as you leave the Great Rift Valley behind and head south. Stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and then, after an early lunch in Nairobi or a picnic lunch en route, continue to scenic Amboseli National Park.
Day 6 Amboseli NP
Depart for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.
Day 7 Amboseli NP to Nairobi
Leave Amboseli and travel north across the Athi Plains. Arrive in Kenyas bustling capital city and transfer to the airport.
Optional Excursions: Masai Mara Hot Air Balloon
Safari
Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara experience! As dawn breaks,
drift silently over the endless plains in your hot air balloon, keeping
your eyes peeled for wildlife down below. Round off your 1 hour flight
with a bush breakfast and a glass of fizz. Well worth the early start!
