Day 1  Arrive Cairo        
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.                

Day 2  Pyramids & Sphinx  
This morning, head to the iconic Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx. With an expert Egyptologist as your guide, learn about the history and construction of these remarkable structures dating back nearly 4,000 years. This afternoon is at your leisure.          

Day 3  Alexandria Discovery  
Leave Cairo for a full day tour to Alexandria. Founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC, come to learn of Alexandria’s rises and falls during both ancient and modern times. With a private guide visit the archaeological site of Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Roman Amphitheatre, Pompey Pillar and the Great Library of Alexandria.      

Day 4  Egyptian Museum  
Today visit the Grand Egyptian Museum* for a fantastic insight into the history of this absorbing country. Guided by an expert Egyptologist, explore the extensive array of Ancient Egyptian artefacts, including the famous Tutankhamun collection and other items never previously displayed.    
   
Day 5  Depart Cairo  
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.    

*The Grand Egyptian Museum is due to open in late 2023. Should this be delayed you will visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities instead.
