Day 2 Narvik to Svolvaer
At each turn enjoy incredible views on your drive to the Lofoten Islands, taking regular stops to appreciate the dramatic landscape. Your base is the charming fishing town of Svolvaer, the largest town in the islands.

Day 3 Svolvaer
This morning, admire the impressive fjords by sea on a silent cruise along Trollfjord and look out for sea eagles gliding through the sky. Later, enjoy stunning hikes nearby, or perhaps explore the area by car.

Day 4 Svolvaer
Known for unspoilt white sandy beaches, with turquoise waters and mountainous backdrops, head along the coast to admire some of the Lofoten Islands’ best. Drive to the beautiful Haukland Beach and from there set off on a scenic hike along the winding coast.

Day 5 Svolvaer
Today drive down to the Lofoten Islands western tip passing some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. At the end of the road is the charming and wellpreserved fishing village of Å. Here, savour the views and perhaps enjoy a visit to the Lofoten Stockfish Museum.

Day 6 Svolvaer to Harstad
Drive to Harstad, a city with a fascinating Viking past.

Day 7 Harstad
Spend today hiking, cycling or kayaking at nearby beauty spots. Rich in history, head to the Trondenes Historical Centre to learn about the areas Viking and Middle Age past. From here, take the historical walking trail to see the medieval stone Trondenes Church.

Day 8 Harstad
Head to Harstad/Narvik airport for your onward journey.

Day 2 Lausanne
Today, why not take a walk to the lively waterfront area of Ouchy, where visitors and locals alike stroll the tree-lined promenade. Home to the International Olympic Committee, perhaps pay a visit to the Olympic Museum and discover the history of these iconic games.

Day 3 Lausanne
Spend an afternoon exploring the nearby Lavaux terraced vineyards, a beautiful sight boasting UNESCO World Heritage status and producing delectable Swiss wine.

Day 4 Lausanne to Montreux
After a final morning in Lausanne, enjoy a relaxing drive along the lake to Montreux. Boasting an idyllic hillside setting, sloping towards Lake Geneva, you can explore the traditional markets and historic architecture of the old town.

Day 5 Montreux
Hop in your car and make your way to the renowned Château de Chillon, set on the rocky shore of Lake Geneva. Join a tour and learn of the castles history, dating back to the 12th Century, as you admire the impressive interiors.

Days 6-7 Montreux
With so much to discover along the Montreux Riviera, spend your final days exploring at your leisure. Head into the surrounding hills for adventurous hiking and biking trails alongside epic views.

Day 8 Montreux to Geneva
Take a final stroll along the lakefront before returning to Geneva for your onward flight.

Day 2 Verona
Lose yourself in Verona’s romantic piazzas and myriad of alleyways before heading to the remarkably well-preserved 1st Century amphitheatre, which still plays host to performances today.

Day 3 Verona to Lake Garda
Pick up your car and drive to Lake Garda. Lake Garda offers a treasure-trove of wonders to discover, from the rugged wind-ruffled waters in the north to the vineyards and quaint villages of the south.

Day 4 Lake Garda
Visit the lakeside town of Gardone Riviera. Walk along the picturesque promenade and indulge in a local ice cream while admiring the views. A short walk away lies Gardone Sopra, a charming historic centre with cobbled streets and an ideal setting for an evening meal.

Days 5-6 Lake Garda
With more than 600 miles of walking trails, Lake Garda is the perfect place to enjoy fresh air and stunning natural scenery. After an energising walk, relax at one of themany boutique cafés and be sure to hop on a local ferry to explore the many pretty villages.

Day 7 Lake Garda to Lake Como
Leave Lake Garda behind and drive west to picture perfect of the snow-capped Rhaetian Alps and bordered on both sides by steep wooded hills, Como is perhaps the most spectacular of the Italian lakes.

Day 8 Lake Como
Enjoy three full days exploring Lake Como. Picturesque Bellagio is a must do with its iconic waterfront full of bobbing boats, while a local boat tour will offer a unique perspective of the surrounding valleys, villas and villages.

Days 9-10 Lake Como
In the town of Como, visit the imposing Duomo of Como. Further along the west coast lies the 16th Century estate of Villa del Balbianello, surrounded by manicured gardens, unwind and admire the vibrantly coloured medieval buildings of the area.

Day 11 Lake Como to Milan
Take a final scenic drive south to Milan for your flight home.

Days 3-4 Vancouver to Okanagan Valley
Collect your motorhome and drive to the wine region of the Okanagan Valley. Why not spend the following day at a nearby vineyard sampling the local wine.

Day 5 Okanagan Valley to Revelstoke
Admire the stunning vineyards en route to the charming mountain town of Revelstoke. This afternoon discover the laidback, historical town and explore the many hiking trails or take the gondola for incredible views.

Day 6 Revelstoke to Banff
Drive through the Glacier National Park and onto the mighty Canadian Rockies. Admire the stunning vistas as you pass awe-inspiring mountain peaks, glistening lakes and alpine forests.

Days 7-8 Banff
Explore Banff National Park and make use of your Ultimate Rockies Explorer Ticket. Ride the Banff Gondola for unrivalled views of the valleys below and relax on a cruise of Lake Minnewanka. In the evenings explore the many restaurants of Banff.

Day 9 Banff to Jasper
Head north and take in the stunningly beautiful Lake Louise. Continue to Jasper along the Icefields Parkway, stop at the impressive Columbia Icefield Glacier and Glacier Sky Walk, before arriving at Jasper.

Days 10-11 Jasper

Days 12-13 Jasper to Wells Gray
Drive through magnificent scenery en route to Wells Gray Provincial Park, home to over 150 waterfalls including the impressive Helmcken Falls. Spend a full day exploring the park on day 13.

Day 14 Wells Gray to Whistler
Set off early for your drive to Whistler, taking the opportunity to stop off whenever you desire to admire the views. Arrive in Whistler set against the stunning backdrop of the surrounding mountains and meadow-filled valleys.

Days 15-16 Whistler
Go in search of bears in the mountains surrounding Whistler. Led by an expert guide, this is your best chance of seeing these incredible animals.

Day 17 Whistler to Vancouver
Take a final scenic drive along the Sea to Sky Highway back to Vancouver to drop off your motorhome.

Days 4-5 Cape Town to Cape Winelands

Pick up your car and drive into the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands. Spend the next couple of days discovering the history behind the region’s wineries and vineyards, renowned as some of the best in the world.

Days 6-7 Cape Winelands to Oudtshoorn

Take the scenic route to Oudtshoorn, driving through picturesque vineyards and the captivating Du Toits Kloof Pass. Perhaps take a tour of the fascinating Cango Caves and its spectacular limestone formations or visit a working ostrich farm.

Days 8-9 Oudtshoorn to Wilderness

On this journey south you will officially enter the Garden Route, a spectacular coastal drive with dramatic seascapes. Arrive at Wilderness, a quaint village and home to a national park known for its lakes and natural lagoons.

Day 10 Wilderness to Plettenberg Bay

After breakfast, hug the coast until you reach the harbourside town of Knysna, where, time permitting, you can enjoy a boat trip on the calm waters for stunning views through the Knysna Heads. Continue on to charming ‘Plett’ in time for dinner.

Days 11-12 Plettenberg Bay

Explore the beaches and upmarket boutiques in town, the many wildlife sanctuaries on your doorstep or visit Tsitsikamma National Park, home to indigenous forest, deep river gorges and spectacular waterfalls.

Day 13 Plettenberg Bay to Eastern Cape Game Reserve

Leaving the Garden Route behind, continue on to your Eastern Cape lodge, to arrive in time for lunch and your first thrilling game drive.

Days 14-15 Eastern Cape Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in this wildlife-rich region offer the chance to spot an abundance of game.

Day 16 Eastern Cape Game Reserve to Gqeberha

Enjoy one last morning game drive before driving back to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) airport.

Day 4 San Francisco to Monterey
Pick up your car and drive to the delightful Monterey Peninsula.

Day 5 Monterey
Visit historic Cannery Row, watch playful sea otters in the bay or perhaps go an exciting whale watching tour. Drive along scenic 17 Mile Drive and explore quaint Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Day 6 Monterey to Cambria
Continue south on Highway 1 where spectacular vistas await as this iconic road winds and hugs the breathtaking Big Sur coastline. Arrive in Cambria, a pretty hillside town set amidst pinewood forests.

Day 7 Cambria to Paso Robles
Head inland to the rolling hills of Paso Robles wine country, or perhaps take a break in the happy and creative town of San Luis Obispo.

Day 8 Paso Robles to Santa Barbara
Return to the coast, passing through the small seaside town of Pismo Beach and onwards to the American Riveria.

Day 9 Santa Barbara
This alluring city boasts a stunning beach, Spanish colonial architecture and a beautiful mountain backdrop.

Day 10 Santa Barbara to Santa Monica
Next stop is Los Angeles and the affluent beachside neighbourhood of Santa Monica.

Day 11 Los Angeles
Stroll along the Santa Monica Pier and watch the locals rollerblade along the boardwalk. Alternatively, head inland to explore Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Day 12 Santa Monica to San Diego
Drive south to the atmospheric waterfront city of San Diego.

Days 13-15 San Diego
Blessed with year-round sunshine and numerous sandy beaches, San Diego is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the city’s numerous attractions.

Days 5-8 Rotorua & Hawke’s Bay
Have your first volcanic encounter in Rotorua as well as getting a glimpse of your first kiwi in the National Kiwi Hatchery. Then in the wine capital of Hawke’s Bay, enjoy the views atop Te Mata Peak and sample some delicious Pinot Noir.

Days 9-12 Tongariro National Park & New Plymouth
Trek through awe-inspiring volcanic scenery on the famous Tongariro Crossing in Tongariro National Park then drive the Forgotten Highway to New Plymouth for a walk around the base of Mount Taranaki in Egmont National Park.

Days 13-15 Kapiti Coast & Wellington
Drive down the Surf Highway to the Kapiti Coast. Enjoy a wildlife tour on Kapiti Island Nature Reserve before a day in the nation’s capital.

Days 16-19 Nelson & Blenheim
Cruise through the Marlborough Sounds to the South Island. Use Nelson as your base to explore Abel Tasman National Park and Golden Bay in Kahurangi National Park. The next day head to the beautiful Marlborough Plains to sample a Sauvignon Blanc in Blenheim.

Days 20-23 Kaikoura & Christchurch
Spot resident sperm whales or migrating orcas on a cruise in Kaikoura. Then enjoy a couple of days in vibrant Christchurch with a day trip to see the rare Hector’s dolphins in Akaroa harbour.

Days 24-26 Lake Tekapo and Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park
Admire the aquamarine waters of Lake Tekapo and at night enjoy a stargazing tour. Drive along Lake Pukaki for a stunning helicopter flight over Mount Cook. The next day walk the famous Hooker Valley Track.

Days 27-31 Dunedin & Stewart Island
From Dunedin visit the Royal Albatross colony on Otago Peninsula. Then spot birdlife in Catlins Forest Park en route to Invercargill. Take the ferry to Stewart Island for a rare chance to watch wild kiwis wander by in Rakiura National Park.

Days 32-33 Fiordland National Park
Journey up to the gateway of Fiordland National Park – Te Anau. Spend a night in the heart of the breathtaking Doubtful Sound on an overnight expedition cruise.

Days 34-36 Queenstown
Enjoy a tour of Queenstown then choose from a host of outdoor experiences available in South Island’s scenic playground. Perhaps take the day trip up the scenic Crown Range Road to Wanaka and Mount Aspiring National Park.

Days 37-38 Franz Josef
Go from rugged mountain to prehistoric rainforest as you drive to Franz Josef in Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Take to the skies once more in a helicopter, soar over the majestic glacier and trek across the vast, icy expanse.

Day 39 Arthur’s Pass National Park
Take a last drive to Greymouth before taking the famous TranzAlpine train through Arthur’s Pass National Park back to Christchurch.

Day 40 Christchurch
Depart for your onward journey.
