Journey

Journey
The Skeena takes two days to make its way from the rugged splendour of Jasper National Park and the Canadian Rockies to the forest clad beauty of the Pacific Coast – and with a scheduled overnight stop along the way you’ll only travel in daylight so you won’t miss a thing. Leaving Jasper the Skeena is soon surrounded by the peaks and forests of Jasper National Park as it makes its way across the Great Continental Divide passing the Canadian Rockies’ highest mountain, Mt Robson and following the Fraser River to Prince George where the train halts for the day. The next day begins rolling through the dramatic scenery of the Rocky Mountain Trench. Panoramic windows provide ample opportunity to spot wildlife including moose, bear and eagles as you travel towards the Coastal Mountains and along the Skeena River to Prince Rupert where your journey ends.
