Trailfinders' John Maasz gives an insight into Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Expert Review
John Maasz
Location, Location, Location!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is just a short boat or monorail ride from the gates of Magic Kingdom. This was our second stay here we and wouldn't consider anywhere else for Disney.
On the days we went to the other parks we took Uber taxis which we found quicker and more convenient than the Disney transport – an Uber to the Animal Kingdom was only $15 including the tip.
We booked a room with two queen beds, and the sofa is an extra single bed so our kids didn’t have to share.
This property is worth the extra cost every time.
Top tip: The rooms have a nice size fridge and coffee machine - they provided a kettle on request. We bought cereal and milk in the shop to have a quick and cheap breakfast in the room – this meant we could get out to the parks early!
