Situated in the heart of Guyana, on the west bank of the Essequibo River, this field station lodge is surrounded by tropical rainforest. After an exciting day of discovery and exploration, you can enjoy traditional Guyanese cuisine at the open-air dining room or relax at the waterside bar. Each of the 8 simple river facing timber cabins have a thatched roof and a wrap-around veranda with hammocks.
Please note all activities at the lodge are on a small group basis and due to the remote location, there is no air-conditioning and guest rooms are fan cooled. Hot water is not available in the bathroom facilities.
