This unique eco lodge has a gorgeous setting surrounded by rainforest and overlooking the Pacuare River. Oozing with rustic charm, a romantic atmosphere is created each evening with candle light since there is no electricity at the lodge. Travel by four wheel drive or try white water rafting on the Pacuare River or a combination of the two. Rafting to the lodge is an enjoyable experience which will take just over 90 minutes on grade II - III rapids through scenic canyons. If you choose to depart the lodge by river you will raft over grade III - IV rapids which will take approximately 3.5 hours and includes a stop for lunch.A selection of activities are included to make the most of this spectacular location. Rooms and suites are designed to blend in with the environment and have screens to allow the breeze in and all boast views over the gardens or river. The beautiful Linda Vista Villas are located higher up the hillside and offer unforgettable views from the private terrace and plunge pool.

Pacuare Lodge Expert Review
Tasmine Breckon
What a place! Such a special property. With only 20 suites, Pacuare Lodge was intimate yet had so much to offer.
We stayed in a Linda Vista Suite which was incredible with views of the river and each with a private pool. Being so remote, the lodge had a lot of inclusions during the stay such as ziplining, canyoning, guided hikes, night walks etc. You could easily stay here for days and not get bored. There are also lots of other optional chargeable activities and speciality dining experiences. My personal favourite was ziplining to 'the Nest', which I can only describe as a treehouse, where we dined for breakfast!
The service was great. At each meal we were asked to select what we wanted for our next meal and at what time we wanted to dine. The food was delicious and there was lots of variety.
I’d recommend Pacuare Lodge to anyone, whether you’re looking for adventure activities or diverse wildlife. The option to white water raft in and/or out of the lodge is unique and one I would recommend. It is quite the experience!
