Located on the site of one of the oldest estancias in Patagonia, this wonderful lodge is reached by a spectacular 3 to 4 hour boat ride across Lago Argentino, passing strikingly blue icebergs and enjoying views of a glacier. Just getting to Estancia Cristina feels like travelling to a last frontier, yet it offers urban levels of comfort. Guests can choose from a range of activities such as 4WD excursions, horse riding and trekking, all carefully designed to make the most of the magnificent surroundings. In the evening the simply furnished bar is an excellent place to unwind before sitting down to a beautifully prepared dinner made from local ingredients. There are just 20 rooms located in 5 separate cabins. All are comfortable, blending traditional and modern features and offer sensational views of the surrounding mountain peaks. This is a beautiful lodge in a wild and remote part of Patagonia.
