Uga Jungle Beach

Nestled amongst scrub jungle and mangrove forest beside a quiet beach, this charming resort blends discreetly into its surroundings. Located in a remote spot 30 minutes drive north of Trincomalee on the northeast coast, it offers the perfect peaceful getaway. Enjoy dolphin or whale watching cruises and snorkel off nearby Pigeon Island between March and September. Alternatively simply relax on the unspoilt beach and while away the days.

Reached by teak walkways, the rustic restaurant is set amidst lush green vegetation and there is also a charming thatched bar plus a beach bar.

The 48 cabins are crafted from natural materials and tucked within the forest. Each features a balcony or terrace and shower only.

Lagoon Cabin: set in a two storey building with stylish interiors and jungle or lagoon views (shower only).

Jungle Cabin: tucked within the forest offering more privacy.
