Grand Hotel

This celebrated old hotel dating back to 1891 exudes colonial charm and is located a short walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya. The property features an indoor pool, small spa and a gym. Alternatively enjoy a round of golf on the hotel’s course or a game of billiards in the Snooker Room. Six restaurants and a café offer a diverse range of dining options in a variety of elegant settings: from buffet meals in the grand Barnes Hall, to authentic Thai cuisine and traditional Italian fare. High tea is served on the lawn and in evenings relax with a brandy beside the roaring fire in the lounge bar. Deluxe Rooms are traditionally furnished with simple bathrooms and views towards the town or gardens.
