Narendra Bhawan

Opened late 2016, this wonderful heritage style hotel is located in a quiet residential area of the city. It has been designed, in exquisite detail, to recreate the private living quarters of Maharaja Narendra Singh after whom it is named. Many of the original artefacts on display, including many collected on his overseas travels, reflect the late Maharaja’s eclectic tastes. Gold furniture and French chandeliers sit comfortably side by side with modern Indian furniture and tribal artwork. A baby red grand piano has even found a home in a corner of the lobby! Facilities include a lovely spa, a pool, a restaurant (including the Mad Hatter bake house which serves delicious sweet treats) and a bar. Each of the 82 rooms is beautifully appointed and boasts elaborate ceilings, Bikaner terrazzo floors, traditional crafts and a distinctly vivid colour palette.
