Maison Perumal

With its tall arched windows and white façade, this 18th Century house is a beautiful example of Franco-Tamil architectural style,and has been painstakingly restored to create a charming boutique hotel. It is located in the city’s bustling Tamil quarter - just a short stroll from most of Pondicherry’s attractions. The property proudly supports local artists, resulting in a colourful and ever changing display of artwork throughout the hotel. The restaurant serves delicious meals, with seafood a speciality. There is also a bar. The 10 comfortable rooms are different in size and style, but each is decorated with antique furniture and red oxide or terracotta flooring. Standard Rooms are compact, Deluxe Rooms offer more space.
