Hotel Fukinomori

This boutique Japanese style hotel is located between Nagiso town and Lida city and is just a 20 minute car journey from Nagiso train station. Surrounded by beautiful valleys, this is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the nature rich area. Facilities include the indoor and outdoor onsen (hot spring bath) which offers wonderful views of the forest and at night the starry sky and a dining room serving local Japanese cuisine. Standard Rooms are simple with a traditional Japanese layout featuring tatami mat flooring, sliding screen doors and a futon to sleep on that is rolled out at night. Each have a small terrace that offers wonderful views of the valley. Japanese Modern Rooms have all the features of a traditional Japanese house with western beds.
