Trailfinders View
Accessible by boat from Lund on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, this timber-built lodge in the heart of Desolation Sound is 100% owned by the Klahoose First Nation, offering a range of wilderness activities and the opportunity to learn about indigenous culture. Join an exciting bear watching tour, travelling 30 minutes by boat to the remote Klite River in the Toba Inlet. Disembark the vessel and head on foot to viewing platforms dotted along the shoreline for a chance to see grizzly bears fishing for salmon. Alternatively, take advantage of the range of amenities available, including kayaks and paddle boards, or simply relax on the dock boasting impressive views from every angle. Embark on other adventures such as kayaking in search of playful porpoises or hiking into an ancient western red cedar grove. After a tasty dinner unwind by the campfire and listen to ancient stories under a starlit sky.
