Trailfinders' Lauren McLeod gives an insight into Daydream Island Resort
Daydream Island Resort Expert Review
Lauren McLeod
Daydream Island is a great option for families wanting a taste of the gorgeous Whitsundays. It's all about the activities at Daydream and there are plenty of them!
A highlight of a stay at Daydream is a guided snorkel with a marine biologist in their living reef. This is perfect if you don't want to do a boat trip out to the reef (normally a full day trip) and can do it from the comfort of a secure lagoon. You learn a lot from the expert guide, and you also get to touch and hold some of the marine life (eg. sea cucumbers, starfish) and feed stingrays!
Top tip: Make sure you pre-book your activities on arrival at the hotel to ensure you can fit in everything you want to do!
