The northwestern city of Tabuk is rich in Bedouin culture and has long been a resting point for Jordanian and Egyptian pilgrims. The city is closely associated with the story of Moses, who is believed to have lived east of the city for a decade.

South of the city lies Wadi Al Disah, the greenest and most stunning of 6 valleys in the region. With its uniquely sculpted sandstone columns and deep canyons, this fabulous wadi has been likened to a cross between the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley in America - with the addition of whispering palm trees! Caves and tombs in the cliff faces are adorned with centuries-old mysterious petroglyphic writing and rock art.
