Itinerary

Days 1-2  Boston  
Discover historic Boston; follow the Freedom Trail, wander through elegant Beacon Hill and bustling Quincy Market.  

Day 3  Boston to Kennebunkport  
Pick up your car and head north to Maine. Affluent Kennebunkport is a former fishing village that’s now one of New England’s most popular summer destinations.    

Day 4  Kennebunkport  
Uncover this delightful town’s history, waterways and beautiful beaches.  

Day 5  Kennebunkport to North Conway  
Next stop is the stunning White Mountains. North Conway is a great base for exploring this picturesque region.  

Day 6  White Mountains  
Discover pretty gorges with waterfalls or soak up the view from majestic Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the north east.  

Days 7-8  Stowe  
Vermont’s scenery is breathtaking, mixing white clapboard villages and the snowcapped Green Mountains. Enjoy Stowe’s hiking trails or sample some of the locally produced cheese, ice cream and cider.  

Day 9  Stowe to Manchester  
Vermont’s southern Green Mountains are home to the characterful town of Manchester, located at the foot of  Mount Equinox.

Day 10  Manchester to Stockbridge
Travel on to the rolling hills of the Berkshires and to the quaint town of Stockbridge.  

Day 11  The Berkshires  
Enjoy Tanglewood, the summer home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, visit the Norman Rockwell Museum and take in Stockbridge’s antique shops and botanical gardens.

Day 12  Stockbridge to Mystic  
Drive south to Connecticut and the maritime town of Mystic. View the historic tall ships at the Seaport Museum.  

Day 13  Mystic to Newport  
Newport is home to opulent 19th Century mansions and scenic coastal pathways.  

Day 14  Newport to Cape Cod  
Head to the idyllic Cape Cod peninsula where miles of beaches and characterful villages await.  

Day 15  Cape Cod  
Take the ferry to the old whaling island of Martha’s Vineyard or see the sand dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore.  

Day 16  Cape Cod to Boston  
Visit Plymouth, where the Pilgrims settled in 1620, before heading back to Boston.
