Day 1  Hanoi
Enjoy some free time to explore this marvellous city before a welcome meeting this evening to meet your fellow travellers.

Day 2  Hanoi to Halong Bay
Head to the spectacular World Heritage Site of Halong Bay, where thousands of limestone karsts rise dramatically from the waters of the bay. Board a junk boat and cruise the islands before spending a peaceful night on board.

Days 3-4  Halong Bay to Hue
Enjoy a free morning cruising the bay before returning to Hanoi for the afternoon. Have some free time before boarding an overnight train to Hue. Once the imperial capital of Vietnam, Hue gives an insight into the country’s royal past. The morning of day 4 is free to explore this fascinating city, before you embark on a guided tour of the ruins of the Hue Imperial Citadel complex.

Day 5  Hue
Brace yourselves for an exhilarating ride on the back of a motorbike through Hue. Visit the ruins of the Forbidden Purple City and the Thien Mu Pagoda, before embarking on a short cruise down the Perfume River, visiting the lakeside Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc.

Days 6-7  Hue to Hoi An
Depart Hue and travel through coastal rice paddies and via the Hai Van Pass for spectacular views of the South China Sea. On arrival in Hoi An, head out on a guided sightseeing walk of the Old Town. The next day is free to explore at your leisure.

Day 8  Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
Board a short morning flight to reach the historic city of Ho Chi Minh. Embark on a tour of the city to take in all of the sights including the Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral, before visiting the War Remnants Museum to learn about the impact of the Vietnam War.

Days 9-10  Ho Chi Minh City
Explore the Mekong Delta on day 9,  starting with a boat trip to Bên Tre to visit the coconut gardens. Your tour comes to an end on day 10.
