Itinerary
Days 1-2 Manila
Arrive in Manila and transfer to your hotel for a welcome meeting with your fellow travellers. On day 2, take a morning city tour of Manila’s highlights before enjoying the afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 Manila to Laoag
This morning, leave the city behind as you fly to Laoag in North Luzon. Head to Malacanang of the North to discover more about the history of the Philippines and admire the views of Paoay Lake. Latermarvel at the unique architecture of San Agustin Church of Paoay.
Day 4 Laoag
Today, take in the flora and fauna at Kabigan Falls before heading to the coastal town of Pagudpud to admire the views from Cape Bojeador Lighthouse.
Days 5 -6 Laoag to Vigan
Travel south to the charming Spanish colonial town of Vigan. On day 6, explore the town’s cobbled streets, colonial architecture and imposing cathedral by horse-drawn carriage. Visit a pottery workshop and handicraft shops before sampling local delicacies this afternoon.
Day 7 Vigan to Sagada
After breakfast, drive to Sagada and discover the cultural tradition of burial caves and the mysterious hanging coffins at Echo Valley.
Day 8 Sagada
Drive to Bontoc enjoy a leisurely hike along Maligcong rice terraces before meeting some of the locals at Favarey Village.
Days 9-10 Sagada to Banaue
Learn about the region’s indigenous communities at the Bontoc Museum before continuing to the incredible 2000 year old Banaue Rice Terraces. Discover deep gorges, canyons and remote villages on a scenic drive through the mountains. On day 10 enjoy a trek along the terraces for panoramic views.
Day 11 Banaue to Mabalacat
Journey to Mabalacat, the gateway to Mount Pinatubo volcano. Spend the afternoon relaxing in your stunning rural surroundings.
Day 12 Mabalacat to Manila
Rise early to trek to Mount Pinatubo’s crater, taking a 4WD vehicle to the start of the trail. Continue to Manila for your final night.
Day 13 Manila
After breakfast your trip comes to an end.
