Temples of Angkor

Day 1  Angkor Thom  
Arrive in Siem Reap and head to the impressive Temples of Angkor. Discover the huge complex of Preah Khan, filled with unique structures and stone carvings. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Khmer dinner at a restaurant set within a wooden house.    

Day 2  Small Circuit Temples & Angkor Wat  
Start your day with a tour of the Small Circuit temples, including crumbling, vine-covered Ta Prohm and the enigmatic faces of Bayon Temple. Later this afternoon depart on a very special sightseeing tour of iconic Angkor Wat. Explore this stunning archaeological masterpiece before watching the sun set over the temples and surrounding rice fields.    

Day 3  Tonlé Sap Lake & Banteay Srey
If water levels are high, drive to Tonlé Sap Lake which swells to four times its usual size during the wet season. Board a local boat and visit one of the stilted villages, passing floating houses and flooded forests. In the low water period (usually Mar - Jun), the morning will be spent visiting the remote, overgrown temple of Beng Mealea. Later head to the pretty temple of Banteay Srey and visit the fascinating APOPO centre, a humanitarian mine clearance project.  

Day 4  Siem Reap
