Day 1 Mandalay
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.        

Day 2 Mandalay
Visit Mandalay Hill for spectacular views over the city and the Mahamuni Pagoda with its revered Buddha image. Later head to the former royal capital of Amarapura and stroll the famous U Bein Bridge.

Day 3 Anawrahta River Cruise  
Board the Anawrahta and cruise to the former capitals of Sagaing and Ava, home to hundreds of monasteries and temples. Explore the area by horse and cart before learning about long-lasting Burmese traditions back on board.   

Day 4 Anawrahta River Cruise  
Wake early for optional yoga on the deck and a lecture on the history of Bagan. Take a guided walk around the riverside village of Yandabo, well known for its pottery, before afternoon tea on board as the cruise continues south.    

Day 5 Anawrahta River Cruise  
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you cruise to the old trading town of Pakokku where you will discover its small industries and thriving market. Continue downstream to Bagan and visit a selection of the most remarkable temples before watching the sunset over the temple-studded plains.

Day 6 Bagan        
Disembark and meet your private guide for a full day of exploring the incredible temples.

Day 7 Bagan        
This morning visit colourful Nyaung U market and take a bicycle tour of the village of Myinkaba. Relax back at the hotel before heading to some of Bagan’s lesser visited temples.

Day 8 Bagan to Inle Lake    
Fly to Heho and drive to Inle Lake for a trishaw ride through Nyaung Shwe town. Later board a private motorised longboat and head out on the lake with its stilted villages and floating gardens.

Day 9 Inle Lake      
Start today at the lake’s market before taking a scenic boat ride to see the incredible collection of stupas at Indein.

Day 10 Inle Lake        
Wander through the village of Mine Thauk before enjoying wine tasting accompanied by beautiful rural views at the Red Mountain Estate winery.  

Day 11 Inle Lake to Rangoon (Yangon)        
Drive to Heho for your flight to Rangoon where the rest of the day is at leisure.    

Day 12 Rangoon      
Explore the city’s faded colonial buildings and bustling areas of Little India and Chinatown. After lunch take a stroll through Kandawgyi Park before ending the day at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 13 Rangoon        
Transfer to the airport.
