Itinerary
Day 1 Lima, Peru
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Lima
Discover colonial and Inca architecture, fascinating pre-Columbian ruins and spend time in the charming Plaza de Armas while exploring Lima on a half day city tour.
Days 3-5 Lima to the Amazon Rainforest
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and transfer by boat to your lodge. Spend two full days exploring the magical Peruvian Amazon with a variety of exciting excursions.
Day 6 Amazon Rainforest to the Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco and drive through the scenic countryside to the Sacred Valley, visiting the Pisac market en route.
Day 7 Sacred Valley
Explore the majestic Sacred Valley on a full day tour. Visit the Maras salt flats, the impressive Moray terraces and the striking Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo.
Day 8 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Journey by train from the Andean highlands to the jungle. Be prepared to be wowed as a knowledgeable guide leads you on a tour of amazing Machu Picchu.
Day 9 Machu Picchu to Cusco
This morning there is time to further explore Machu Picchu before returning by train and road to Cusco.
Day 10 Cusco
See the city’s highlights and surrounding Inca ruins, including the hilltop fortress of Sacsayhuamán, on a half day city tour.
Day 11 Cusco
Today is at leisure in this enchanting city.
Day 12 Cusco to Iguassu Falls, Brazil
Bid farewell to Peru and fly to Iguassu Falls to start your Brazilian adventure.
Day 13 Iguassu Falls
Experience the power and majesty of the falls with a tour to the Argentine national park.
Day 14 Iguassu Falls to Rio de Janeiro
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls and soak up the mesmerising panoramic views before flying to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 15 Rio de Janeiro
Discover two of Rio’s most iconic sights with your private guide. Take the train up Corcovado and stand at the feet of Christ the Redeemer before riding the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain for spectacular views over the bay.
Day 16 Rio de Janeiro
Spend a full day at leisure in this vibrant city. Perhaps take a stroll along Copacabana and Ipanema beaches or explore the bohemian neighbourhood of Santa Teresa.
Day 17 Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to the airport.

Only a 3 hour drive north of Rio, glamorous Búzios boasts lovely beaches, stylish hotels and great nightlife. Alternatively, pretty Ilha Grande lies 4 hours south of the city and offers a more laidback option, with rustic accommodation in lush surroundings.
