Itinerary
Day 1 Lima, Peru
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Lima
Embark on a half day city tour to discover some of the important places of interest in Lima, including the historic old town and impressive Larco Museum.
Day 3 Lima to the Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco and drive to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. This captivating region is renowned for its dramatic scenery and impressive Inca sites.
Day 4 Sacred Valley
Enjoy a fascinating tour of the Sacred Valley. Visit Pisac market and the Inca citadel of Ollantaytambo.
Day 5 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Take the train through beautiful Andean scenery to reach magnificent Machu Picchu. On arrival your knowledgeable guide will bring history to life as you tour these mysterious ruins.
Day 6 Machu Picchu to Cusco
This morning explore Machu Picchu further before travelling by train and road back to Cusco. The evening is at leisure to discover this enchanting city.
Day 7 Cusco
See the highlights of Cusco on a guided tour. Visit the main plaza and the Inca ruins which surround the city, including the hilltop fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
Day 8 Cusco to Bogotá, Colombia
Today fly to Bogotá in Colombia.
Day 9 Bogotá
Explore La Candelaria, Bogotá’s historic quarter, before learning about Colombia’s past in the Gold Museum and visiting the Botero Museum. Take the cable car up Monserrate Hill for spectacular views.
Day 10 Bogotá to Medellín
Fly to Medellín and this afternoon take a tour to learn about the city’s transformation in recent years. Explore the infamous Comuna 13 and visit Plaza Botero to see the sculptures donated by the famous local artist, Fernando Botero.
Day 11 Medellín
Known as the ’City of Eternal Spring’ for its temperate climate year round, enjoy a day at leisure to further explore Colombia’s second largest city.
Day 12 Medellín to Cartagena
Fly to the Caribbean coast and the historic city of Cartagena. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to soak up the romantic ambience of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 13 Cartagena
Explore the city with a half day tour which includes a visit to the impressive San Felipe Fortress.
Day 14 Cartagena
Transfer to the airport.
