Itinerary
Day 1 El Calafate to El Chaltén
Depart El Calafate on a 3 hour scenic drive north towards El Chaltén and take in the incredible views of this rugged and beautiful area of Patagonia.
Day 2 El Chaltén
Enjoy a guided trek along the popular Laguna de los Tres trail to the base camp of Mount Fitz Roy. You will hike through forests and across streams to be rewarded with impressive views of the Fitz Roy massif.
Day 3 El Chaltén
Today is at leisure. There are plenty of self-guided trails to choose from of various lengths and difficulties or we can arrange another guided hike for you. There are a number of viewpoints along each hike with picture-postcard views of this magnificent region.
Day 4 El Chaltén to El Calafate
Drive back to El Calafate for your onward travel arrangements.
