Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro

Day 1  Buenos Aires, Argentina      
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. You have the rest of the day at leisure.      

Day 2  Buenos Aires      
Enjoy a guided tour of the different neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires. See the cobbled alleys and colonial architecture of San Telmo, the colourful streets of La Boca and historic Recoleta. This evening savour a traditional Argentine dinner and watch an enthralling tango show.      

Day 3  Buenos Aires      
Today is free for you to explore more of Buenos Aires.      

Day 4  Buenos Aires to Iguazú Falls      
After breakfast fly to the town of Puerto Iguazú, the gateway to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world.      

Day 5  Iguazú Falls      
Discover the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls. Follow the walkways which meander through the national park to see the falls from a number of viewpoints and listen to the roar as the water thunders over the top.      

Day 6  Iguazú Falls to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil      
Make your way across the border into Brazil and enjoy incredible panoramic views of these powerful falls before flying on to famed Rio de Janeiro.    

Day 7  Rio de Janeiro    
Today discover two of Rio’s most iconic sights with a private guide. Take the train to the top of Corcovado and stand below the huge statue of Christ the Redeemer before riding the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain.      

Day 8  Rio de Janeiro    
Spend today at leisure. Simply relax on one of the city’s legendary beaches, perhaps go behind the scenes of the iconic Maracanã Stadium or wander the leafy hilltop neighbourhood of bohemian Santa Teresa.      

Day 9  Rio de Janeiro to Búzios    
Depart Rio and drive along the coast to Búzios. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or head into town to discover the variety of shops, restaurants and bars.  

Days 10-11  Búzios      
With two days at leisure there is plenty of time to explore the many beaches and walking trails dotted around this scenic peninsula.  

Day 12  Búzios to Rio de Janeiro      
Transfer back to Rio de Janeiro airport for your onward travel arrangements.
