Days 1-2  Auckland  
Arrive in Auckland and explore this lovely waterside city at your own pace.    

Day 3  Auckland to Waitomo    
Collect your motorhome and head south to Waitomo. Visit the magnificent Waitomo Glowworm caves in the afternoon for an incredible natural light show from these fascinating insects.    

Days 4-5  Waitomo to Rotorua  
Travel to the geothermal hotspot of Rotorua, home to bubbling geysers and volcanic mud pools, passing scenic vistas en route. Spend day 5 exploring this geothermal wonderland. Take a dip in the thermal hot springs, learn of New Zealand’s Maori heritage or perhaps take the Skyline Gondola for spectacular views.    

Day 6  Rotorua to Taupo    
Take the short drive through rolling hills to the lakeside town of Taupo.  

Day 7  Taupo to Wellington    
Continue through the heart of the North Island to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, where you have time to explore at leisure.

Day 8  Wellington to Marlborough
Board the ferry to the South Island and drive to the spectacular world-renowned wine region of Marlborough, before spending your evening at your maui Winery Haven.    

Day 9  Marlborough to Nelson  
Drive west to Nelson near the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park.    

Day 10  Abel Tasman NP    
Visit the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park, famed for golden beaches, beautiful coves and stunning coastal walks.    

Day 11  Nelson to Punakaiki    
Set out early for the long but beautiful drive to Punakaiki to see the unique Pancake Rocks.  

Day 12  Punakaiki to Fox Glacier    
Head south to the small picturesque village of Fox Glacier. Visit Lake Matheson known for its mirror-like reflections.    

Day 13  Fox & Franz Josef Glacier    
Take to the air this morning by helicopter to see Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. Be prepared for unforgettable views of these awe-inspiring glaciers.  

Day 14  Fox Glacier to Queenstown    
Drive through stunning Mount Aspiring National Park to lively Queenstown.  

Days 15-16  Queenstown    
The options for exploration from Queenstown are almost endless. Perhaps enjoy a full day tour cruising the waters of Milford Sound, take a introduction tour to the city or ride the skyline for epic views.    

Day 17  Queenstown to Oamaru    
Depart Queenstown and head towards the east coast to Oamaru, known for being the home of the world’s smallest penguins.    

Days 18-19 Oamaru to Christchurch    
Travel to Christchurch to drop off your motorhome and spend your final night in a hotel.
