Days 1-2  Delhi  
Arrive in India’s bustling capital city and enjoy a half day sightseeing tour.      

Day 3  Delhi to Varanasi    
Fly to Varanasi and take a half day tour of the city’s temples as well as the famous riverside ghats (ceremonial steps).    

Day 4  Varanasi    
Rise early for a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges and watch as the locals pay homage to the river and the Sun God. Later visit the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site of Sarnath.    

Day 5  Varanasi to Agra    
Fly back to Delhi and drive on to Agra.    

Day 6  Agra    
Enjoy a full day tour of Agra, including an unforgettable visit to the Taj Mahal. Tour the impressive Agra Fort and finish at Itimad-ud-daulah, otherwise known as the ‘Baby Taj’.      

Day 7  Agra to Jaipur    
Return to the Taj Mahal to see it in its full glory at sunrise. Later drive to Jaipur stopping en route at the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri.    

Day 8  Jaipur    
A full day of sightseeing in Jaipur begins with a drive up to the beautiful Amber Fort before taking in the city’s landmark sites.    

Day 9  Jaipur to Udaipur    
Continue your journey by road to Udaipur.  

Days 10-11  Udaipur    
A half day tour showcases Udaipur’s highlights. Spend the evening on a boat trip on Lake Pichola to enjoy the view of the stunning Lake Palace. The following day is free to enjoy this lovely laidback city.    

Day 12  Udaipur to Mumbai

Day 13  Mumbai    
Spend the morning on a city tour seeing some of Mumbai’s many historic sights.    

Day 14  Mumbai to Cochin    
Fly to Cochin. Later get your bearings on a sunset harbour cruise.    

Day 15  Cochin    
Visit Cochin’s historical landmarks before spending the evening at a traditional Kathakali dance performance.  

Day 16  Cochin to Backwaters    
Drive to Kumarakom where you will board your houseboat for a memorable journey through Kerala’s backwaters.

Days 17-19  Backwaters to Kovalam    
After disembarking, drive to Kovalam to end your trip with a few days by the beach to relax.  

Day 20  Kovalam to Trivandrum    
Transfer to the airport.
